Silke recently moved from Germany to the United States.  Growing up in the middle of Europe, Silke learned early on the importance of cross-cultural communication and the value of different perspectives.

Her curiosity for new cultures, ideas and customs have taken her to many different countries all over the world where she has lived, worked and traveled.  She believes that learning about different ways to see the world teaches us a lot about ourselves and helps us to understand and form the world we live in.  She is convinced that Global Corner gives children the opportunity to experience the world around them in a fun and engaging way.
